What is a tensile structure?

A tensile structure is a lightweight architectural system in which a high-strength membrane is stretched between masts, cables and anchors. The doubly-curved fabric carries loads purely in tension, allowing huge column-free spans with minimal material.

We work with PTFE-coated fiberglass (25–30 year lifespan), PVC-coated polyester (15–20 years) and ETFE foil cushions for translucent roofs. Material is selected based on span, climate, translucency and budget.

Yes. All our architectural membranes are 100% waterproof. Welded seams, engineered ridge and valley geometry, and integrated gutters or downspouts ensure complete water shedding even in heavy rainfall.

Lead time depends on size and complexity. Typical projects: design 2–3 weeks, fabrication 4–6 weeks, on-site installation 1–4 weeks. Stadium-scale projects can run 6–12 months end to end.

Stadiums, airports, shopping malls, amphitheaters, plazas, walkways, hotel atriums, resort pools, exhibition halls, transit stations and any project where dramatic, lightweight long-span shade is needed.
